I don’t think it’s about being kind. It’s about realising whose really at fault and hating the right person. Why would I hate the innocent son when he literally had nothing to do with it. Why not hate the father whose the actual real culprit? What use will it be directing my hatred to towards the blood relatives of my culprit when they aren’t involved in the slightest? You don’t hate the son for a father’s crime they had no part in. It’s more useful to focus our attention on the actual culprit then people who aren’t involved. Uke doesn’t hate the seme. He’s shocked by the info and scared. He’s angry towards the seme because the seme didn’t come to see the uke after the accident happened. Even the uke knows in his heart the seme’s not at fault.

I would hate them both and hate anyone related to the father it's not like I want revenge on the ml but I would just get away from him it's true the ml was a child in that time but he is now a grown man he could have checked on the uke family and even help him from afar it felt like the ml didn't want to have anything with the mc and that don't sit well with me sometimes we should pay for just some of our parents mistakes
