No, but genuinely same. The replies you're getting are a sever overreaction. And in fictional media, a toxic manipulative relationship can co-exist with a feeling of fluff too.
It just depends on the person.
And just because it has a feeling of fluff and might make some think this is more cute than- uh, well, messed up? Doesn't mean they'd think the same in a real life situation.
It's entirely different when it's under the pretense of fiction. Or, well, even if someone was in an abusive relationship in real life, but their manipulative/abuser lover was being nice to them, it might make them feel good and soft in the moment, but anyone looking in would know it's just another abuse/manipulation tactic, and I'm sure once the victim was out of the relationship would understand this as well. Would know those 'fluffy' moments were all just lies.
But when we look at fiction, and media that romanticizes these manipulation tactics, they tend to do so in an unrealistic way that's noticable. That being said, this Seme just seems a little slow, but is a pretty good Green Flag for the usual FICTIONAL Semes we get in BLs, but obviously is a bit more of a walking red flag if he were a real person.
But, he's not, so I get what you're saying. I personally think the body drawing scene was really wholesome and adorable, but I've also consumed some pretty intense BLs. Maybe while I find that cute, someone else could see it purely as another form of manipulation, which has some argument and points to be made in which I could see that. Do, see and understand that, even. Doesn't change the fact I found it overall, pretty wholesome and 'fluffy'.
In all honesty, people's criticisms of the Seme have been pretty fair, and I've seen more praise for him than hate. But it's best that you just... Don't let fictional media affect you, really. If it does, I would suggest backing out of it, unless you're using it to cope with and/or come to terms and acceptance with something in your past.
Or you just simply like being uncomfortable lol

thank you for this, you’re a real one! you explained everything perfectly and thank you for taking time out of your day to give your perspective and opinion with respect and literacy. i agree with everything you’ve said and urge anyone that comes across this mess of a comment section to at least read this comment out of all

Definitely, no problem! <3
I certainly try to provide as concise and evident of an explanation for those reasonable and genuine enough to actually search for some sort of understanding behind the logic of how someone could find this 'cute', or the logic behind consuming fictional media of the darker and more toxic themes. Not everyone is really receptive to it, but I've found that patience, respect, and a thorough explanation goes much farther with them than insults and acting defensive does.
Thank you for the praise, it means a lot!
i can’t tell if some of y’all are straight up snowflakes or i read too many batshit crazy manhwas that this is basically cute fluff
