the ending is literally so confusing and does not answer a single thing so i’ve decided they both lived and the killer went to prison. getting shot once doesn’t always mean you die right away. especially not with so many professionals nearby. there is absolutely nothing in the world that will convince me that the mc died. maybe the killer killed himself after mc gets shot but mc is not dead that would just be stupid.
