I think a lot of people are upset at more than the story. It’s more than just “wank material” when you read the author’s comments. They seem to have a really warped and demented view of what is BDSM. It’s also really obvious Duna is a self insert character and that’s an issue when the character that represents the author becomes so soooo unlikable but the character she hates based on her coworker is somehow more bearable than she is? It feels like this is some weird power trip rape fantasy she has about people she hates. That might be a stretch but I’m saying I think the is why so many people feel uncomfortable, because they feel the same way. A lot of BL and hentai is egregious non-con and messed up shit yet it doesn’t quite feel like this.
yeah i can understand how duna feels more...gross? (i think that fits) than other rapey mcs. it's one of those stories that starts off good and then goes downhill quick. i remember a few years back lots of people pointed at how the author changed. like they went from trying to make an original, new look on femdom that turned into this. this is a story where u just turn your brain off .
