I am happy for Louis and Theo. I really am. But I'm so heartbroken from the thought that Nick and Louis spent 7 years together wasting all those time for nothing. I understand that Louis had a part in it, but the thought that Nick never tried to come up with a solution about his father and just fighting for Louis. The thought that he wanted Louis to never get over him, messing with him from the beach trip, the photos purposely sent, and coming by to talk shit. I noticed how gaslighter and manipulative he was, too, the translation was so good it showed how he twisted all his word just to manipulate the other party. It was so painful to think Louis spent 7 years of his life for that good-for-nothing.
I just really can't get over how painful that break-up was for Louis, being toyed like that, like he was some stranger and not someone who took care of Nick for 7 years.
I'm happy for Theo, someone finally understood him and accepted him. He's a pure kid and naturally gives back what he gets ten times, so I know they'll grow old together.
On that note, Theo was not a weird kid. If you'd have younger sibs (I do), it's natural for them to mimic you. They look up to you, they love you, so they'll naturally be drawn to what you do. Especially in their environment where everyone was mean to Theo and abused him, it was bound to get unhealthy and think he just did not try hard enough. It was painful to see. I hope he heals.
And for Nick, he's not really ideal or perfect. Having that big of an unconscious daddy issues is pathetic. Instead of choosing the love you had, you chose to follow a stupid order. That's pathetic. Theo is actually smarter than him. Lol
You know when long-time relationship break up, one of the partner knows what exactly they want and the other one is miserable. In the first half, Nick was the partner who knows what to do and Louis was the miserable one. In second part we see that the real miserable one is Nick
