I suggest you just read it and make up your own mind. Personally, I assumed Jo was the ML so I wasn't invested in TJ as a character. But then by the time I started liking TJ, I realized tht the scenes between both him and Jo were too balanced for him not to be a lead. But still, up until the end of season 1, I really thought Jo was the only ML. Then I realized it might not be the case because TJ was having more of an impact on the MC (Ian). And then someone confirmed the author meant for both of them to be MLs. So it's really 50/50.
Readers tend to be upset at different junctions of the story when Ian's attention is more focused on the other ML. Like if you read the comment section now,, you would think Ian has been all about TJ from the begining but that isn;t the case. It's only where his focus is now.
im on chapter 12 now and im confused whos the real endgame… i mean since at the beginning its started off with Jo so i thought hes the endgame but now im seeing Ian has more interaction with TJ so yeah idk anymore (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
