i absolutely loved the ending where ian didnt even go to the valpurgis island bcs he knows he shouldn't AND SO HE JUST WAITS THERE, BARE MINIMUM, I KNOW BUT STILL... loving someone that much almost, maybe even to the point of obsession for so long and still be able to practice restraint and patience AND RESPECT AND CONSENT I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL
