i honestly find myself crying through these chapters bc of how sad cain's storyline turned out... i don't blame the author, this is their story and they can choose whatever endgame they want. it was my choice to pick cain and it's my fault that i'm sad that the mc is finding happiness without him

i truly just want this story to end now so my heart can stop breaking for cain
