I interpreted as in being a bottom is no punishment BUT for a guy who thinks highly of himself who never wanted to "get dirty" to please his partner (to go down on them etcetc) it kinda is a humbling experience to have a taste of your own medicine
That groomer extra is not the vibe also isn't it weird how often in manga the evil rapist villain always shows up as a bottom in a side story with a sadist guy it's like the mangaka is saying "hey look he's become a bottom after doing all those cruel things to the mc" like being a bottom is some kind of punishment don't take my ramblings to heart though it's just an opinion
