I think Cirrus never wanted anyone to find out how his "family" treated him, because we saw the behavior of everyone in his childhood, and if we compared him to Skyler, he is well-behaved, non-violent, seeks the approval of others and to be liked, but he dosen't open up. Then his friend see how things are, and Cirrus dosen't want to be pitied.
I hope they can talk things out and keep their friendship.
