Even though I ship Ariadne and Alphonso, I think Ariadne and Cesare LOOK the best together. Like they look like a badass couple, in my opinion. Her and Alphonso look cute, don’t get me wrong, but for whatever reason I think Cesar’s appearance complements Ariadne more than Alphonso’s.

i agree! i mean ofc cesare is toxic af. but ariadne's and cesare's color schemes work really well together. plus i enjoy their banter haha but ofc cesare's hair just shows how much of a red flag he is lol

I like his changes too, but I also agree if I was Ariadne it still wouldn’t make up for what he did in her past life. But it’s weird to think about because technically Ariadne changed the “story” so much that this Cesar isn’t the same Cesar from the past life, you know? So it feels weird to hold the current Cesar accountable for his past life’s actions. Can still definitely hold him accountable for his attitude in the current life though lol

Yessd i always thought about it in every time travel story like they're literally not the same anymore. There are things we would and wouldn't do bc of the situation also one situsion can change ar3 whole life. But at the same time you still remember all that they did you and it DID happen for you. You had to live through this pain was real and you're still hurt and everytime you see them you would see the version of them that you remember. There is one thing i don't like in the time travel/reincarnation story is that even when MC changes basically everything in the world the situations and characters actions most of the time stays the same bc plot convince. But it isn't realistic bc if you change something from the original story then it's basically a different universe (unless it's a book game type that is forcing the original story to happen no matter what).

Omg absolutely same opinion on the characters/actions being the same in both lives even with change. The only time I don’t mind it is when the MC is trying to force the same storyline as the past life for whatever reason. Sometimes I get annoyed at the opposite problem though, when an MC changes a shit ton of things (whether accidentally or on purpose) but then when a character starts to change from the version the MC remembers they think “why are these people acting so out of character?” And it’s like girl because you changed everything they’re literally different people now haha.

I think it's because Ariadne is entangled with Ceasar even in the first timeline. It deliberately expressed that they are fated together, no matter how much Ariadne tries to change the situation, however, their fate is an ill-fated one. I mean, you do remember that she's abused and being used in the same timeline. And no matter how Ariadne changes the present, it causes butterfly effect which events occur earlier than the previous one. Well, that's prolly why both Ariadne and Ceasar color scheme looks better when they are together and you could perceive them as both strong due to their color pallete. Also, i do think that Alphonso fits Ariadne well, too. It is presented that Ariadne is gloomy with her color scheme, meanwhile Alphonso is bright with his color scheme. I think, it is intentional that way we perceive that they are balanced. Unlike with Ceasar, his color scheme overpowers her.
