They're so funny and relatable. I've seen literally 0.1% be happy for this amnesia plot while the rest (me included) are TIRED.
Idk if the author did this because they're trying to extend the story but I'm sure there were other ways than making the readers miserable like this
Now that I think about it I didn't even know this was a historical setting when I first read it.
And now that I'm thinking about it AGAIN maybe the author is doing this on purpose

We had historical setting with flashback
And now we're dealing with amnesia back in our era?
A lot of different tropes here (Longer story)
I still wish they stuck with flashback OR amnesia and not both
Or it should've started with the amnesia then the flashback to regain memories WHICH IS WHAT WE THOUGHT IT WAS??? BUT NOW WE'RE JUST BACK TO PLAIN AMNESIA
Okay I'm done ranting now.
