how funny it would be if the captain is her cousin and he knows she is a girl and the other guy is working so hard too make her fall for him and doesn´t know the girl really just admires the captain but its not love :D so a rival that isn't a rival but familie would be funny :D i like the captain he seem funny and he likes skinship :P
