I reread season 1 and remember why I initially liked this webtoon. Maehwa was always direct in his actions and there was no ambiguity in whether he likes Jaewon, and the same was true for Jaewon.
Meanwhile the second couple… this push and pull mentality has been past its welcome. You can kiss and cuddle and have sex but you can’t date because one doesn’t like changes and the other doesn’t believe in forever? Absolutely no progress. One step forward, two steps back. Geez.
