I like this story, just wish they stopped showing Ian doing it with TJ all the damn time get him awf my screen

And isn't Jo the endgame? like unless the author has made other series or has stated it somewhere that she likes toxic relationships or dynamics that alludes to Ian with TJ or has said something that gives hints,,, then why do yall think that Jo ISNT endgame.
Fandom favoritism to one guy doesn't equal to the actual endgame. Apparently the author confirmed that the ending will not change even if a character is more popular. Besides she already finished planning the story even before she serialized it.

Also, if u actually like Ian, why would u want him to stay with the guy that's the root of his problems. Ian wants to leave this life and start fresh, but he cant cuz this mf obsessed with him
but if Ian does end up with TJ then that's sad :/

I'm rooting for Ian. BUT the author said she wanted to make a noir story, and Noir denotes a marked darkness in theme and subject matter, generally featuring a disturbing mixture of sex and violence. That is to say that I'm not so sure «Watsand» is not a history of how someone who wants to leave a dark and dangerous path that it's taking his humanity (Ian) meets a good guy and draggs him to that world instead of the good guy helping Ian to the "light" and a common life.
And I'm also not so sure that one or more of them (Ian/Joe/TJ) end up dead at the end.

ohh interesting. yeah like if she wanted to make noir, it will contain dark themes. and that would be showcasing toxic relationships, mob stuff, etc. And yup, I've seen ppl theorize someone gonna die.
but yeah we don't really know what the author plans to do with this to give Ian his happy ending. I just hope it's with Jo or stays single.
