I would say it more has to do with the color of the lovemeter
I totally agree, but in easy mode as far as I remember there was no variation in color for the love meter, so in hard mode their line becomes more twisted depending on the character (which I think materializes in the color of the love meter)
So I'm not looking for spoilers but I honestly believe that in this "hard mode" version of the game, "100%" certainly means smt awful for the FL/player. It's not "100%" adoration like in easy mode, it's maybe more twisted like obsession or possessiveness or aggression. So in eclis' case it's 100% of a dark "love" where he betrayed his own people to be freed so he may stay with the FL, even bringing in the actual daughter so she'll be casted out and he can be with her
