I’m actually alright with this being a soap opera . I’ve seen a lot of tele novela so I’m used to the melodramaticness. Anyways my thoughts : Fl I’m seeing a lot of people hate the fl for being “easy” as if her husband isn’t a pos who’s waving his to every women. God forbid SHE tries to seek comfort with someone who appreciates and respects her as an artist. I’m also seeing her being called bland, but I don’t really see it. She’s prevented from going out to do literally anything due to her shitty husband not letting her. She’s limited to her room thus is why she enjoys painting. It allows her a bit of freedom. The ml: Yeah some of them are hit and miss. So I did enjoy Chris the most out of the three men. Although his intentions weren’t the purest at first, he finds out the she was the girl from his locket who’s helped in the past. He was the first person aside from her maid to have respected her and adored her art Sasha, the childhood friend, I thought he was alright. There a few of miscommunications since the shitty husband kept preventing them from meeting. I didn’t really care much for him in the beginning, but he did come around towards the end when it came to fl and helped her escape. Carlyle, the crown prince, I was right to expected him not to end up with fl. And it was mostly because of his position, I just didn’t believe the fl would be happy getting remarried and feeling “trapped” in another place. I do also that his immaturity was something that prevented this, since he was blinded by his desires but ultimately decided to trust his father when it came towards the end. He was someone who’s loved the paintings made by the fl and placed her art on display for others to see. Maybe in the future, he’s able to grow more rational and maturely. The ending Hell yeah, a throuple . You rarely see that in reverse harems. Usually the fl picks one guy and leaves the rest. So I’m glad Chris was alive in the end. It’s one of those endings that just kinda work. The shitty husband is gone, she was able to escape, Sasha brings Chris to Fl, the kingdom still thinks of her as a murder so it’s not like one of those stories where “everything just worked out”. I dunno I just liked it.
