i think hazuki is just worried because they are a long time together and he forgot all of their talks, i don't think hazuki meant any of this stuff and he was just exhausted from minato and his work and he was just overwhelmed.. i believe he will never forgive himself about the things he said
it's unfortunately a result of his insecurity in himself, as a parent, and with his relationship. It's not OOC at all. It's been sprinkled in throughout the story, it's just small moments or whole volumes that have now resulted in this.
At first, Hazuki pushed his way through the gates of Naoto's heart and they fell in love. Now, Hazuki is afraid that someone will do the same and will take Naoto away. Like when that high schooler was helping Naoto, Hazuki felt insecure because Naoto did not reach out. He felt he wasnt doing enough since Naoto did not reach out and instead was helped by another alpha.
Hazuki has been wary of his parenting ever since he got together with Naoto. Although it's not as apparent with Shizuku, it definitely is with Minato and Aoi. Hazuki set expectations for himself as a parent and he's not meeting them at all. It's somewhat resolved in previous chapters but that insecurity never really goes away for Hazuki. And this insecurity is what the new volume is focusing on. Naoto complimenting Otoha, but joking about Hazukis skills in the past chapter has made Hazuki's insecurity worse. (Though this isn't Naoto's fault either, he doesn't know how intense Hazuki's insecurity is.) So Hazuki's actions are a result of insecurity building up. Does that excuse what he said? definitely not. But I hope this provides some context !
Wow it definitely does! I can definitely see where ur coming from that hazuki’s insecurities are just building up and this is the result! It was just surprising to me how at first it seemed like the author was following the same “hazuki is feeling bad/jealous and naoto must comfort him” format that we’ve seen before but he took it to the NEXT LEVEL it got me thinking about how much hazuki has changed from vol1 and maybe not for the better in some ways
Additionally, I think he does have that kind of quirks in his personality from the start. Even though he is shown to be a very understanding alpha, Chapter 6.5 shows him basically trying to impregnate Naoto with a very one sided focus. He does say something like "Did you think I was all smiles. I am an alpha after all and you are an omega, so I'm not holding back. I will have a child with you.". They never discussed having kids (at that time) prior to this, at least we are not shown that. But he single handedly decided that they were going to have a child. Naoto just went with it.

At the very least now, when Hazuki victim blamed him he stood up for himself. Also, what does Hazuki expect? that Naoto should not go out of the house, that he should not make any new friends? That's not a very healthy relationship now. is it?

Okok so hear me out what happened to hazuki’s character??? Like I reread the first volume and his whole outburst in the recent chapter completely contradicts his entire mindset in the first volume (and what I assumed was his overall mindset and the reason why naoto liked him in the first place no??) like how did we get here?? How did the same dude that praised the bravery of omegas end up VICTIM BLAMING his own partner?? DAMN
