Yeah the author is making it weirder and weirder by enunciating the fact that he was basically a third parent figure in his life and is now lusting after him. We could've tried to ignore the incestuous nature but the author keeps shoving it in our face. They WANT it to be incest but give it a technicality. It's ICK
Why did Yu say that? Saying something like doesn't let Qi see you as a love intrest but as more of a brother.
It's weird how you can have feelings for ur "siblings" after being there for them most of their life. Washing their clothes, changing their diaper.
