Both Aris and Siana are using the grandma's sadness to get protection from her power...

Siana even specially prepared Aris to dress up as similar as possible to the dead child.

I'm writing this comment because the feeling you're having towards Aris is not nice. Well, yes, logically speaking, it is a ‘conscious’ response due to sudden loss of someone. Or the other possibility that it's a normal reaction but because she is your granddaughter.... DON'T TAKE HER AS YOUR DEAD DAUGHTER'S SUBSTITUTE.
