I think people just expect every little detail to be laid out for them
I think the confusion also comes with all the mystic side of things (cultivation etc.) It's when readers get too hung up on it that they miss the more important plot points. Like the (not so) subtle cue that showed Bai Mo entering the world. If they miss it, it may feel jarring for them when MC starts the collab.
I'm not sure why the comments said the ch 127 confusing, they just want to make the script for villain bullying the protagonist and rescued by the Luo something scenes ,so they can finish this arc soon and hop to the next world faster.
