Did he decided to pick up his disciple role again and abandon the wig for specific dialogues of the villain? This is so confusing. The unofficial translations sure are confusing

its not that he decided to pick up his role as disciple. yes hes abandoning the wig for the main storyline dialogue...he cant be the disciple anymore because for his protection, he was "exiled" so he wears the wig...but since he and bai mo (disguised as luo wenliu) are trying to progress the main story, he has to be the original villain (hence no wig.) Ofc the original plot has been thrown out of wack, and xian qin showing up is gonna force wang yi and bai mo to come up with something different than what the main plot entail....

    -tldr:
the storyline is glitched out, bai mo is wenliu, wang yi (villain) has been exiled and has to use a disguise, xian qin can still read minds and is acting out of character

Yup got it! Thanks! I wonder if there will be any scenes including wenliu, wang yi and Qin Xian. If so, then either those scenes will need to be abandoned or he would have to let go of his disguise. Anyways this is very similar to the zombie apocalypse arc now lol
