You probably know this already but gale is a character in the authors previous story, dark heaven. Besides that.. the cute side of gale and hair's dynamic kind of remind me of persephone and hades from lore Olympus webtoon. Both cute and dark parts, except not as dark as this. Especially hair and persephones identity crisis/suffering from the bad things they did in their lost memories. Its surprising cause the beginning is so cute and fluffy but they also discuss topics like s/a and abuse. Hades isnt really like gale though, gale does bad things because he doesnt believe he has good in him but hades tries to do good things because he believes hes bad and doesnt want to be. Hes still zaddy though. The overall vibe isnt the same but to me maybe their dynamic is

also i recommend heir's game, love song for illusion and whale song: the gyeongsong mermaid. Heirs game has an assassin with trauma protecting a cutie with trauma with lots of cute moments plus the author is great and has awesome stories.
Love song for illusion has also has an assassin x someone with split personality/lost memories as a result of terrible things they did but warning it's probably one of the most frustrating webtoons I've ever read I had no peace the entire time I read it.
Gyeongseong mermaid isnt exactly romance besides the mc being in love the whole time but is only similar since the mc gets caught up with rebels trying to regain freedom for korea (it's set during japanese occupation) by trying to dismantle the corrupt government and guardians of the lamb is destroying the fucked up cult. Besides that it's entirely different other than being a banger story with insane art.
It's a manga but tokyo ghoul and tokyo ghoul re: mc has a similar mental crisis to hari. I dont want to spoil but it's a great series honestly one of the best ever my favourite and is super dark but also has lots(?) of cute moments. The art style goes crazy and the mc is also loveable too. Ok im gonna shut up now
