I love Zenitsu but yeah I agree
He does in fact get a reality check and her being with sanemi would be kinda weird since he's 21 and she's only 14 and considering the fact she does still have a body of a 12 year old her and zen are far more appropet to be together and it may not show much in the manga but their relationship does develope it shows in the officle fan books and extras and once he got that reality check he got himself together

They might be talking about genya not sanemi, since genya does have a scar across his face :3
I didn’t even think about that Oop I just assumed since genyas dead and for some reason they ship her a lot with sanemi
I think it’s due to the one scene where he pats her head ngl but I also was confused when I first read it then realized they might be talking about genya

Am I the only one who finds Zenitsu extremely annoying and wishes that someone tells him off like you can‘t just declare that Nezuko belongs to you! I really wish she would‘ve dumped him and get together with the Hashira with the Scar on his face, they fit so much better.
