Yep. His name literally means Dog Wolf. The Author really could have named him Cain Wolfe. Maybe...MAYBE Cain Canis or Canis Wolfe. But they decided upon Canis Lupus.

And his parents are Mr. and Mrs. Lupus. It reminds me of my illness Lupus Nephritis. I couldn't imagine calling them Mr. and Mrs. Lupus tbh.
