Every chapter I’m afraid cirrus’ dad or stepmom hurts his dog while he’s not there, EVERY time I hope it won’t happen

I do have the bad feeling that something will happen to the dog, simply because they mentioned so many times that she’s already a bit older and her whole medication situation.
