Indeed it's possible since I also experienced almost the same thing but I tripped over nothing (≧∀≦) Just clumsy me being caught with my friend even though our height difference is not that far but in the end I was shoved into a wall (￣∇￣")

So I read a lot of manga--and especially YAOI. There are scenes where you know, the Seme catches the Uke from behind when he trips and all--it's cute. But I was like "How is that even possible--it's a nice drawing and all but it's it just kinda impossible?" well, all my LIFE that was what I was thinking--& one day, I wasn't drunk though--but clearly had a couple of drinks. I tripped over a small bump on the concrete and my co-worker/friend caught me when he was behind me! OMG he saved me from smashing my face to the cold concrete. I'm only like 4'10 and he's 5'7-8. =.=
