I mean I don't think she ever viewed him as anything other than a failed experience imo, matter of fact even if she had somewhat successfully created a carbon copy of her dead lover I don't think she would've treated them properly either, feels like she was just grieving and thought she would get better if she created a replacement for him which obviously wouldn't have worked either way
