I don't think anyone understands..

I don't think y'all understand their dynamic. I mean a lot of you guys in the comment section are only looking at the story on the surface rather than actually read and understand the love triangle. It's very clearly hinted that Ian is only really with TJ because of how they relied on each other for comfort and through trauma bonding, but of course that's unhealthy which is why TJ has this strong feeling of ownership over Ian. Jo kinda showed that healthy love that Ian needs. I mean the man literally says it's not something he's used to feeling. Jo brings him stability that he's scared of, TJ bring him that toxic love that he's used to so of course he constantly goes back to him. People gotta remember that TJ and Ian have clearly been together for years and helped each other with their trauma. Jo has only been with him for what it seems a couple of months. TJ sees Ian for what he is and accepts him cause he truly knows him. Jo has only seen a fraction of what Ian is. Ian clearly likes Jo, but he's scared because any type of stability he's had in the past it immediately dissolves because of him. Remember people that TJ and Ian have been together since they were teens, they go way back. I'm sure in future chapters the author will open up about their backstories and delve deep into their traumas that shaped them. Sorry for the long rant.

I know it’s a whole year later, I agree wholeheartedly with what you’re saying. I had to reread the whole thing to double check what people were saying is something I agree with. Reading between the lines and understanding implicit meanings has become lost art. It’s not even hard to comprehend what the author is implying but I feel like selective hearing, there’s selective understanding. Your comment is refreshing in this pool of comments that just are so surface level haha
