I'm not even hindu but I still think
It's really rude of author to make something like this

well i don't know what intention the author had, but in my perspective it's not something offending though, a tattoo of smth sacred on yoohan's back makes me interpret in interesting ways, it could be how the "tryambakam" is associated with erasing ignorance, giving knowledge, release from mortal affairs of death, so

i feel like, with lee yoohan it's more prominent, how he slowly grows, forgives himself which is the hardest part, learns himself, and in turn i feel like gets released from that cycle of atonement, living his life truly as a living being, away from that living death. and also how like, about the god of destruction, that too perhaps aligns with how yoohan is, self destructive, but then with director yoon, and with knowledge of his own self, he can finally be free

it just makes me think differently, maybe because i like to interpret things hhhhh but when you get around the offensive part, (which it might be to some, or most, i don't blame them), but art could be interpreted in so many fascinating ways!

Late to the party but as a Hindu, I won't lie I'm a LITTLE offended to use the om symbol as tramp stamp but also I was pleased to see Hinduism references....I'm honestly conflicted by it.

That's not the part I'm pleased about. That's the part I don't like. The part I'm pleased about is the fact that the Hindu symbol is included at all and that the author actually researched what it means before including it.
I just wish it was on a different body part, like the arm or something. Even the leg.
