@Daya Everyone wants to come off as new and edgy. Nothing wrong with that except the way they go about that is through tragedy and, like I heard it put so nicely, when the writing is not good enough to where you get a connection to the characters and how they're dealing with the loss and tragedy then it's an overall boring story. And I would add just pain for the sake of witnessing pain.
