Surprise surprise, couples fight. Sometimes one is right, and sometimes they’re both wrong. In this case, imo, they’re both wrong.
Hazuki is young, and is extremely insecure about his parenting. He doesn’t have any experience with kids since he’s also an only child and is constantly on edge thinking his own kids don’t like him. Seeing Naoto complimenting Otoha on how good handles children was an extreme (unintentional) blow to said insecurity making him feel extremely jealous and said horrible things.
Now as for Naoto, it was indeed a private thing for Otoha, but in marriages hiding stuff is an ingredient for disaster. He could’ve said instead “Otoha kun asked for advice on his love life right now. I don’t think he’s comfortable about me telling you the details, but I’ll ask him if he needs your pov as well next time”
I hope my babies solve this fast and continue with their happy family life
