As someone who also doesn’t like romance in books like this, istg its worth the read still. He do have a crush, but the book doesnt focus on it much, doesn’t affect the plot a lot too, i think you can even skip these brief scenes if you want. Their interactions are not very romantic, its more of admiration (for me).
