I was thinking that too. I was hoping that a reason for her mother to treat her daughter so distantly would be address, but nope. We just have to assume that she is a terrible mother for no reason since no reason was given.
She didn't do anything to mend her relationship with her mom! She literally just said a couple of words and ran out, not even letting her mom repond. Even if was going to be negative maybe she could have talked it out and done something. -sigh- I shouldn't get this worked up about it...
Complete hypocrisy right now: I would totally run away too if I had a hot sensei caring for me like that. Lol
