Yup. I said this at the beginning too. But a bunch of ppl came at me for it. Like. Week after week, since I had started this series since its conception (6 ch. starter), without fail, not only NEW readers, but the SAME campers likes to pitch their tents here.
It's at ch. 20 now. So since the first week's offering, it's been 15 weeks. Lol. That's like a while 3.5 months of pregnancy. Like going into the second trimester already and they're just waiting for more crumbs to feed on.

I dont get why this is so confusing to so many ppl actually?!?It's called hope readers friend lol. Everyone pissed off is waiting for the alphas redemption point that'll make his past mistakes more digestible. So they're in it for the long haul because they're hoping there's a happy end for MC who had to go thru all this nonsense. One can honestly only hope
who says they don't like the work? people disagree/have a hard time with the way the seme is written it's common on every work with this trope? who would just shut up and read a character with such terrible traits? he's essentially the stories antagonist/villain until he goes through character development or they introduce someone even worse ? you're not supposed to like him?? he's insane ??
if you go through and read the comments people say "I don't like him" and they are often taking about the uke as well. There may be a few who say outrightly "I don't like the work" but they r very far between because this is a platform not exactly catered to people hating on works like that.
how is disliking a story immature, it’s called having an opinion… and people who don’t like this story keep coming back the same reason that people watch trashy reality tv, it’s a dumpster fire that you can make fun of. hate reading and hate watching is a thing. there’s no stipulation that readers have to enjoy what they read
there are MANY people saying they feel sick reading it and trash-talking the author’s decisions for the characters, they say the ML is unforgivable, so if there’s no hope for the story and whatever outcome it has will only make them feel sick, why keep reading just to trash-talk in every chapter? that’s what i’m saying, it’s not difficult to understand. We know for a fact that there are countless stories with toxic characters that those same haters never give up on obsessing over, if they stick around while on the pretense of hating it, is this really hate or just feigned hate to hide their interest in said characters? if they keep looking for those stories knowing damn well the patterns while playing dumb to not get caught they should at least be respectful towards someone’s work.
You’re allowed to dislike whatever you want, however spreading hate towards someone’s job that happens to be fiction is and will always be immature, but if you think someone’s hard work is “a dumpster fire” to be made fun of then I don’t expect you to understand what being mature is. Hate read all you want, that wasn’t even the point, the point is that for those people to be camping in every update like they can barely wait for the next chapter proves their displeasure is fake, there’s no way you’ll be looking forward to “feel sick” like some said they feel, when you truly feel bad about something or it really pisses you off you will drop it, but those same guys being here every week and by the clock proves that they’re enjoying it and just don’t want people to acknowledge it, they like it so much that they feel the need to engage with it even more than those who are openly okay with the content, but of course always making sure to trash talk it so people won’t question their morals.
It is confusing to me because a lot of those are saying that the character js unforgivable, that they feel sick reading it, so i don’t see where the heck is the hope you mention, because no one would go through something so irrelevant to their lives and that supposedly makes them feel sick and displeased just for the sake of it. You like it the way it is, it’s not that difficult to admit, a lot of these people are here because they were drawn into it by the patterns that they found in the pieces they read. They all know how the ML is going to be like, a lot of these stories are from artists and authors with other works, you take it from Jinx, every single person that trash talks the artists also read BJ alex and know how the author’s work are usually like, and yet when it was about to release they were playing dumb in public and being like “oh i’m gonna read to see if the author became a better person”. lmao. better person for what? not making pixels and non-existent characters suffer? be for real. Yes, it’s confusing, and no, I don’t believe you’re only here because you hope for the best, there are plentiful manhwas and mangas with healthy relationship and green flag characters, you guys aim for those with toxic characters and fucked up relationships because you actually like it that way.

how does people coming back for every update prove that their displeasure is fake? as i said, hate reading is a thing. if an author’s writing isn’t good to the point it’s hilariously bad, then yeah a lot of people will keep coming back just to see how this mess keeps unfolding. just because someone works hard at something doesn’t mean it’s immune to criticism and people disliking it. an architecture can spend 3 years on a building project but if the structures look ugly, people can call it as it is — ugly.

Fair enough. Maybe I'm missing the comments youre mentioning cuz the ones I've been seeing have been pretty general mentions of the toxic dude. But it is what it is if its worse than that. There are always ppl who just like to hate on ish. As mentioned by someone below though, authors who are popular especially can still get criticized and have people who find the book so so or even garbage finish every page just because they started it and need to review it accurately. But my guess is as good as any. All I'm saying is I've yet to see anyones comments that were so hateful they didn't make sense. The ones I seen looked like typical reader anguish at the brutal character /plot and that obviously still enjoys the journey of the story but needs to vent. （￣へ￣）Like watching a basic a** horror movie filled with dumb decisions but enjoying watching it and ranting about how stupid they were in it regardless. Also, as toxic as Sangwoo was for example I've never wished him dead. It's pretty funny there are ppl saying that. But is it wrong to wish a shitty character would just jump off a cliff? I don’t really get the comments… you all make it sound like reading it is such a bad experience, that you don’t feel good reading it and even want the male lead to die, so why are you insisting on reading it? you know the male lead won’t die, and more than this, he is the love interest of the main character and it won’t change. Most of this comments are posted even before i get to read the update, which means that although you hate it, you’re camping on it, even more so than those who actually enjoys it and are mature enough to admit it. This is fiction. Omegaverse doesn’t exist, male cisgender pregnancy also don’t exist and those characters are just a bunch of pixels on your screen, you don’t need to be inconvenient about someone’s work just to make sure you’re proving your morals, because camping here and actively reading and engaging with it while downgrading the authors work won’t make you look like you’re not enjoying it. If expressing how much you hate a piece of someone’s work is your way to be able to engage with it within communities may you should try for another approach because it only makes you sound immature and not even old enough to be reading this.
