He’s just pretending to have amnesia to lure the vassals and finally get rid of them completely. He didn’t tell erin to make it more believable and not suspicious. And btw, when erin found out she completely agreed with aiden’s plan, even praised him lol. This is also the arc where they found out erin is pregnant.
The internal monologue is super misleading then hahaha

From what I remember, He really did have amnesia (hence the internal monologue) but he got his memories back reallyyyy early on and decided to use it against the elders. Maybe in the next 2-3 chapters he'll have it back (hopefully)
