I don’t like it, maybe because it was rushed but I don’t think either of them actually got over Mei’s death. Sure Kaisuke sees Akane now BUT that’s only because he realizes they truly are different and Akane obviously doesn’t have memories that Kaisuke shared with Mei. I feel like he settled because they’re twins
