Pls give the novel a chance

Just finished reading the novel and needless to say I was a crying wreck. I didn’t expect it to be profound and somewhat thought-provoking. I didn’t expect to love Lu Feng’s character this much cos he’s a stark contrast to my most fave danmei mc of all time, Xie Lian. Honestly, I could talk abt little mushroom all day ┗( T﹏T )┛

If you’ve discovered xiao mo gu or little mushroom through this manhwa then I highly encourage you to read the novel. I understand why it won an award cos it’s just so beautiful and well-written!
