Shonen ai is a good place to start. It's the same as Yaoi but specifically no sex.

Yeah, I would also say Shounen Ai Manga, like Seven Days :) Or Never Understand if it should be a longer read.
I can also recommend Nojiko Hayakawas Works or Lalako Kojima. Some of Lalako Kojimas works are Yaoi (for example Kimi to Parade and the sequel Paradise View), but you can't see really much and the sex scenes aren't very long, so maybe she could get slowly used to Yaoi like that?

I got a friend who is starting to get interested in yaoi.. But she still in the phase where she freaks out in a sex scene.. she's okay with kissing.. i'm having a hard time remembering the yaois i have read that doesn't have any sex scene..
can you help me recommend something?
