Yeah, I'm sticking to this. There wasn't enough bonding between the FL, ML, and their kid and so it just felt kind of forced to get an ending.
even though I really liked this and was looking forward to the side story, but for some reason the side story made the story not as exciting. I just wanted to see a happy family but instead there was very little togetherness with their children and the side story instead discussed many other things.

like what's the point of having a side story with a kid if there's no family bonding?
that's right... and I think it's a shame that the side story doesn't live up to my high expectations because the child only appears in a few chapters even though there are a lot chapters in side stories
I think the story seemed interesting at the start but then FL became essentially a character with no flaws. Makes her feel like she just came out of a Wattpad story because everyone immediately likes her so much yk? Like at the start some of the relationships made sense (with the general liking her cause she saved his life), but when she started having a relationship with the ML, they dumbed her down and just made her a pretty princess who needs saving. I feel like that's okay sure, but even when she saw the people she promised she'd kill at the beginning with no mercy, she completely lacked the same relish she had before.
Also on a second note, I feel like they could've done the story without her having a child. I'm not completely through with the story yet so maybe it could improve, but they're not exactly the best parents. Obviously, each person has their flaws in parenting or whatever, but it's like they're completely neglectful. There's practically more sex scenes between the two of them rather than the two having a good relationship caring for their kid. It's also strange how a grown man (ML) is actively competing against a literal newborn. It's okay to get defensive and feel like a partner isn't giving you the attention you deserve after it's split, but it's just crazy to see someone fighting with their OWN kid for attention.
Overall, the story just started off pretty good and then fell off tbh. I wouldn't consider it a bad read, just that it's like meh.
