I’m glad he got a better understanding of the world by giving opportunities to see it face first alot of parents will scold their kids for being ungrateful or wasteful by bringing up the fact other children don’t have those privileges but I think exposing a child or anyone to the beauty and the pain of many places creates a greater sense of humanity in people and those who want to help others more
