Certainly a possibility! Still makes me laugh tho (I'm assuming it wasn't a deliberate choice, simply that white backgrounds are a time-saver for the artist which I respect--more just funny that if they were gonna go with a color for the character to "dislike," the author chose one that they use a lot in their art )
I'm honestly laughing right now--in a moment of vulnerability, Sunny is talking about all the things he's pretended to like because of Young's influence, and one of those things is "I don't actually like the color white that much" (paraphrasing).
