He's the real antagonist of the story he doesn't deserve an ounce of happiness, he should've ended up alone with a long bleak lonely life haunted by nightmares at night and horrid memories during the day. Come back to reality for a moment, and think if what happened in the story happened to someone in real life. If some crazy jilted lover or obsessive stalker paid people to harass someone close to you out of jealousy and a pathological sense of entitlement leading to the death of a near and dear one, and adequate or timely justice under law and order is not possible, would you not go vigilante and unite heaven and earth to do what the ML did to teach the perpetrator a lesson if it was in your power to do so?
