I heard some spoilers here and there. I am only able to provide what I remember hearing.
1. MC will regain memories from what I had heard. I think at this point, ML tells the truth (about him regressing as well). Afterward, MC leaves for some time but gets back together with ML in the end. I don't know what happens to MC family though.
2. MC did steal the documents in his first life. Given his personality (good natured person) plus we have all seen how he longs for acceptance, it was a lapse of judgement and it was a time of his vulnerability.
This is my speculation: I don't necessarily think ML is testing MC (or at least not maliciously). Though ML knows MC was a scapegoat, I mainly think ML wanted MC to stop working to be physically separated from MC family (cause they are trash) and redo their arranged marriage life better (treat MC better in 2nd life). Even if MC still stole the documents again, ML won't react as bad as 1st life, leaving better memories for MC in 2nd life.
3. From what people had said, ML does love MC in both 1st and 2nd life.
In 1st life: After forcefully bonding with MC, ML saw MC's memories and feelings (which what happens during bonding) and ML felt guilty for his treatment towards MC. ML wasn't sure how to make up for his actions while MC was spiralling down emotionally until MC, full of pain, killed himself with gun. ML, feeling guilty for causing MC to die, killed himself with the same gun.
2nd life: While ML loves MC.. yes, ML seems to driven alot by guilt to do all this in 2nd life. Many people had commented on that observation and I agree with it.
4. I personally think ML will fall over heels with MC (if he hasn't already yet in 2nd life). I think ML is in love with MC already when 2nd life began. Though I think the reason why ML seems rather distant (yet affectionate from a distance) is cause he is driven alot by guilt (and spoilers had said that ML is suicidal during 2nd life, further proving that ML is driven by guilt to treat MC better in 2nd life).
awwww, thank you for the reply, I see, ml in fact loved mc all his life, I was scared that he's only being on guilt ride that while mc did love him, ml just wanted to repay what he did in 1st life, good thing some of my speculated were wrong, truthfully, ml's action is kind of ambigue to me, he was like testing mc then and there, if only he can comfort our mc, but I guess ml is not the type to comfort via words, I'm scared if he saw the document in this life he'll think our mc betray him again, guess I can be relaxed for now, once again, thank you dear ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~(▰˘◡˘▰)

Additionally, I forgot to mention that I remember people said (2nd life) ML doesn't think he deserves MC and was actually planning to let MC go after some time (like divorcing MC cause he believes that will make MC happy and not trap MC).
So, yes, I agree with you when you said that ML is not the type to comfort via words. He prefers to do actions. Maybe it is a combination of his personality and his guilt. But I can't wait to see the couple start to heal from the trauma and actually communicate.

it's not too often I see ml changes from red flag to green like this, even more if we see reincarnated from ml side, especially some of them mostly still tried to chase their uke just for the sake of being with them better than last time, I think for that divorce part, it will be another misunderstanding arc on them, I hope it won't be too long ╮(￣▽￣)╭

so I've read several stories similar to this, most of all ml usually forced himself to being good to the uke, then uke will forgive him or vice versa, for this story I'll say jeong sejin as mc and kwon ido as ml. what am I wanted to ask are:
1. I can see that mc is slowly regaining the memories even tho it's in nightmare version, will he finally connecting the dots? what happened if he finally learnt the truth of his dark past later on? will he ran away, or maybe avenged his family or ml himself, or maybe he'll forgive them? I can see that ml is reincarnator since he somehow knew all what happened around mc (⌒▽⌒)
2. is mc really did the stealing the document in his past life? or even more worse, I think this is totally obvious if we tracked back that in his 2nd life, ml asking mc to not working, maybe mc back then is framed, and used as the scapegoat? if it's true, is ml aware of it, why did he chose to testing him, it makes him being a jerk, if he knew about mc dark past, why he didn't protect him or assuring him instead of making ambigued choice, poor mc （￣へ￣）
3. I've heard this somewhere that both mc and ml doing suicide in 1st life, judging from how anxious ml when he saw mc is take an interest in the gun assuming mc might took his life from the gun itself, then why did ml also pull the suicide too? did he love mc or it's just his guilt for what happened in the past for making him caring for mc, mc struggling so much but ml just making mc being more tense like on the edge (〜￣△￣)〜
4.will ml fall over head with the mc? this is similar to my previous question, but what am I talking about is if he love mc in both lives, I think the one who cares for mc is only his secretary and his nanny, perhaps his step brother too, but idk about it, for him to suicide that means no one is supporting mc in his past back then （￣へ￣）
I don't mind spoiler, I even like it if I knew the story ahead, so I can determined if I'll rooting for the ml or not (≧∀≦)
