Boy is a delinquent that sometimes helps the yakuza. His "roommate" has a get quick scheme to steal a bunch of money. The yakuza they steal from find them and his roommate abandons him to be murdered. A prostitute picks him up, sorta befriends him (as much as you can in that world), and teaches him his trade. Prostitute is murdered and the boy inherits his costumers. It is very... stream of consciousness and an unsympathetic and unapologetic take at living in the underworld.
