It’s about trauma, grief, brotherhood, found family, rebellion, society’s failings, forgiveness, identity, and so much more. I’ll never get over it

MDZS(Mo Dao Zu Shi), is a novel and also has an anime, manhua and a C-drama on netflix(the untamed), same author as tgcf (mxtx)
LOTM (Lord Of The Mysteries), is a novel and has a manhua but its dropped i think(in this website it is). Is getting an anime(im not quite sure), author is cuttlefish.
ORV (Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint), is a novel and has a manhwa. Getting a K-drama and might get an anime but not official yet. Author is Sing Shong

Good omens. has a book and series. Angel and demon work together and are both seen as traitors for doing so. Although I warn you for season 2 last episode cause damn I had an emotional rollercoaster going on…. I might be an atheist but also a sucker for stories involving gods, angels, demons, etc. + other MXTX works are also hella good. If you liked tgcf then it’s def worth checking out if you ask me

Right now shutline is my to go yaoi
I really enjoyed reading magic soup is a shounen ai with fairy tale storytelling elements to it
I love mahou tsukai no yome it's an shoujo the arcs are so good I'm always about to cry
Hxh is an shounen classic I recomend the 2011 anime adaptation
And since you said any genre or format I'm going to say watch some ghibli classics like spirited away or kiki's delivery
