By that logic, Y*hwi and Jooin are the ones that shouldn't be together since they didn't love each other equally for 100 chapters straight, so their "relationship" actually makes zero sense. Also Jooin told Cain that he liked him back (ch 64) so they actually did at least romantically like each other equally at some point in the story.
Total misunderstanding of the story. Jooin and Yahwi have ALWAYS loved each other but their immaturity and various other factors got in the way. However, true love always wins which was why they ended up back in each others arms where they belong. You can't fake or force true love and for these 2, it was only a matter of time. This is why Cain's love-bombing was ineffective on Jooin despite the troubles he had with Yahwi, his true love.
I know what true love is. Abuse, force, and nonconsensual behavior is not true love, it's just selfishness, among other things. I didn't misunderstand when Y*hwi tried to justify how physically and emotionally abusive he was to Jooin for practically the entire story, by saying that all of the pain that Jooin went through was because Jooin didnt remember him from their childhood. That's not true love, you cannot tell me that it is and expect me to believe it as a fact because i know that it's not, nor does that kind of psychopathic "love" deserve to be rewarded in the way that it's been ever since ch 100.
The only thing that the author did was decide to write an ending where Jooin makes the wrong decision by choosing the one that caused him the most physical and emotional pain and heartbreak with no real love to be seen for practically the entire story. The author didn't "determine what true love is in the context of their story" because it's objectively not and cannot be considered "true" love, regardless of who the author is and especially Not in the context of this story and the way that it was written.
Why you're making it too hard? Jooin's true love is Yahwi and no one else. He only cares about Cain and no more than that. True love mean accepting flaws of your partner and give chance if he deserves it. Yahwi regretted everything and if the author will still continue the story I wish to see more on Yahwi's development.
so what was the point of jooin casting aside cain’s claims of fate just for him to turn his back and claim yahwi is his fate??? this is so dumb bring back cain…
