Yeah, it breaks my heart to read that people don't always understand that a person has some level of trauma which doesn't always result in standing up for themselves.
Granted, there has been some unrealistic versions but this one is quite real in some cases.
A poor wife who's background we don't know but what we do know is that she amd her husband are having trouble producing an heir which resulted the family and servants in being harsh with her hence why her personality is so dismal. I mean, who could immediately gain any self-support and respect in that mess when you have no one by your side to help you through it?

She didn't lose the child yet, and we don't know if the latest chapter after getting thrashed about by the ocean could have been the trigger for another miscarriage.

People want a bad bitch MC from the start but not every one can be like that! If every FL was a badass boss bitch every story would be boring and then they would complain that the stories are the same and aren’t original.

Exactly! Revenge also takes time to even complete. If they just want to get straight into revenge, then the story would be very short. Sure, dragging it out is annoying but it means the story isn't over yet

I’m also in the mindset that not every FL needs to be strong and badass from the start I love seeing “weak” FL (except they never weak dealing with all the abuse they get take a lot of power and strength!) transforming into a badass FL as time goes on (and even using the “meek and weak” persona they had to manipulate the masses)
Because honestly I’m tired of seeing “FL being killed goes back in time and instead of having the most human reaction to literally being killed they start to plan their revenge the first thing they wake up” which is insane for me lmao.
I also want to add that I loved seeing a little bit of background in the story, about how the FL lost everything and wanting revenge on those fuckers after what happened to her. the fact that it isn’t a time travel or transmigration story make it better. Because what happened did happen and the sins and the things those bitchs did to FL cannot be erased (time travel essentially erases it)
I love seeing FL goes into the 5 stages of grief in chapter 12, and than goes straight to stage 6! Revenge.
I can’t wait to see what this FL has in store for us!
Also want to add that there another manhwa that I’m reading that has the same premise but it’s done differently (trash ex husband, FL being legally dead etc’) it’s called “ To My Husband’s Mistress” and I love the slow approach of it and how FL deals with her trauma is incredibly realistic!!

While it's true time travelling does erase the the trauma events, but not all the time, it depends on who ans when fucked up the FL's life. It could be since she was born or during childhood, those time travels would be worth it
In this story, the ex-husband has been sleeping it's the red head for a long time behind FL's back... So going back in time to get revenge would warranted it but it's an interesting approach to not opt for that because she lost her baby once again.

I really don’t understand the mindset of this tbh, and I’m also someone who loves strong FL and I enjoy reading power fantasy as guilty pleasure of mine but also seeing FL like this is a breath of fresh air that I’m welcoming with open arms!

Agree or disagree, I don't care. This woman obviously had a tough life and just now found out her best friend is a backstabbing, psycho bitch. Her husband a cheating moron who doesn't always have his priorities straight but at least have the decency to get the girl some help, probably mostly for the baby but I digress.
Now she'll have to go through a round of healing, divorcing, revenge plus getting the ML that we have seen already. A duo who will take down man-whores family who I now deem unforgivable, even the father that I was rooting for to be the only good one.
