It’s much more normal in countries like these. Work/life being separate is a more western concept. In a lot of Asian countries your work friends are you outside friends and at work you’re like one big family in a way
So just a heads up. If you have a boss or a partner who acts like the top and purposely pushes/violates your boundaries, you need to leave the situation. This is so messed up, and honestly, I would have reported that guy multiple times to HR because what the serious hell
