Agreed! I get that she has a plan but she totally disregards him to the point where they barely even show their relationship and she doesn't even think about his feelings. How do you think he'll feel when he finds out you're lying about the pregnancy? Or when she evaded his proposal / wedding invite for days with no real reason.. idk feels odd and who even knows what her plans are.
I mean he completely disregard the OG FL's feelings as well. And remember he doesn't really care to get her pregnant that was just an excuse to tie her to him and to force a marriage between them.
He already said he didn't want to force her to get pregnant it was just the easiest and fastest way for the family to "accept" her as his wife. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ he doesn't care if she wants to be married to him he wants her therefore she needs to be pregnant to get married to him.

Tbh it's been so long since they discussed it that I forgot he dgaf about the baby in the first place LOL! I agree with your points. I think the issue for me as a viewer is that we're immediately told that he's crazy, obsessive, & emotionally inept, so his obsession with attaining her is in line with his actions. He's also affectionate, and we don't know his thoughts, but we're given no reason to believe he's disingenuous. This is bc he has no personality lol we know absolutely nothing about him and they spend little time together, so all we know is he wants her.
I feel like HER actions arent explained well at all though. We're told over and over again that she loves him so bad and thats why she's doing everything, but we're in the dark as to the Master Plan. I could live w that, but imo, it's crazy that she never "slips up" and genuinely responds to his affection bids. I think it makes more sense for her, as a self proclaimed superfan, to lean into it more? It feels so impersonal bc they don't even spend time building a relationship. I want to SEE her be obsessed w him & their romance instead of just being told constantly that both of them r obsessive. Idk though the storytelling needs work though bc both of them are dumb as rocks .

but im more concerned about how stupid he is, its been a month since she took the pregnancy test, which means that realistically she'd be 2 months pregnant and she would start looking like so right about now.... but theres no mention of change to her physique and he hasn't noticed that
he seems so eager at her being pregnant that you'd think he'd be over not just the moon but also all of saturn's rings about her getting bigger and seeing her progress healthily but no, he just took the news and ran with it and somehow thats really off putting
his overall character is filled with holes like swiss cheese and the fl is so dead set on a "happy ending" that it feels like she forgets that the ml is also human too
or maybe im the only one who feels like that?? idk
